She was born and had her basic education in Ghana. She graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a BSc in Nursing and Diploma of Higher Education.  She has worked in many specialties including Care of the Elderly, wound care,  special ward – vascular surgery and also spent a significant part of her working time as a link nurse of end stage care, Tissue viability and as a Rapid Response Nurse and has attended courses relevant to her practice.

Her areas of professional interests are care of Chronic wounds and Leg Ulcers. With the growing numbers of older people in society, the number of people with chronic wounds are set to rise further, increasing the demand for leg ulcer treatment in the future. They represent a commonly occurring (and recurring) chronic problem, causing considerable distress and discomfort to those who suffer from them.

Besides, she enjoys the challenges chronic wounds presents in sub-Saharan Africa and the immense benefits of my service to deprived people. She currently work as a specialist nurse for STARRS at NorthWick Part NHS Trust with the Rapid Response Team.
